WORK EXPERIENCE:
Vaibhav Gupta was admitted to practice in India in July 2014. Since then he has gained considerable experience in the field of law while practicing at Punjab and Haryana High Court, Delhi High Court, NCLT’s and other courts in and around Chandigarh and Delhi. He has pursued B.com, LLB, and LLM (specialization in Constitutional, Administrative, Service and Environmental law) from Panjab University and has also completed Company Secretary Course from the Institute of Company Secretaries of India (ICSI).

He has expertise in matters of constitutional law, service law, taxation (direct and indirect), arbitration, contractual matters, corporate matters (Insolvency and M & A), land laws, labor laws and revenue and financial law, the consumer. He is also the Standing Counsel of Income Tax Department for Punjab and Haryana High Court. He is also a member of the Corporate Law Committee of NIRC of the Institute of Company Secretaries of India (ICSI).
He has successfully challenged the vires of Section 68(7) of the Punjab Vat Act, vires of the Punjab Government Notification imposing Fire Cess on the godowns and has also advised and represented various corporate houses and banking institutions in amalgamations, labor disputes, tender disputes, acquisitions, restructuring, insolvency disputes, etc.
He is a member of the Bar Council of India, Punjab and Haryana High Court Bar Association, an Associate member of ICSI (ACS).
